wick
n 1: any piece of cord that conveys liquid by capillary action
2: a loosely woven cord (in a candle or oil lamp) that draws
fuel by capillary action up into the flame [syn: {taper}]

[IRC] To cause somebody to be removed from a {IRC} channel, an
option only available to {CHOP}s. This is an extreme measure,
often used to combat extreme {flamage} or {flood}ing, but
sometimes used at the chop's whim. Compare {gun}.
